Calvert County's permit pages say a residential interior alteration requires a building permit, and plumbing is permitted separately: a plumbing-gas permit, submitted by a licensed master plumber. Add new circuits for lighting or a heated floor and there's an electrical permit too, submitted by a licensed master electrician.
