Newer windows and doors can still have problems: fogged glass from a failed seal, a sliding door that's hard to move, or builder-grade units you want to upgrade. Some of those can be fixed without replacing everything. We look at what's actually wrong and price the smallest fix that solves it, alongside the full replacement if you want it.
Calvert County treats exterior changes beyond routine maintenance that alter a home's appearance as an exterior modification, which requires a building permit. Prince Frederick is also one of the county's designated town centers, where changes to windows and doors require Architectural Review Approval before the permit is issued. And if the property is in a designated Calvert County historic district, the county requires a Historic Area Work Permit as well.
We check all three against your address. Applications go in through the county's Encompass portal, and county staff do the inspections. The county doesn't offer same-day inspections, but it offers next-day inspections, and we book them so the job keeps moving.
We install Andersen windows and Supreme Aluminum products, and order doors, hardware, and trim through Build.com.
We also work in St. Leonard, Port Republic, and Dares Beach. See our windows and doors in Calvert County page, or every area we serve.
